Hi, I’m Jack. I support GCSE and A-Level students across Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Tewkesbury to build their confidence, master exam technique, and achieve top grades.

My background as a Software Engineer and my First-Class Master’s degree in Physics from Bristol University allow me to bring a unique, logical perspective to our lessons. I specialise in deconstructing complex topics and showing students the underlying "why" behind the Maths. This moves them past rote memorisation and into the genuine understanding needed for top-tier results.

With over 10 years of experience and 2,000+ hours spent tutoring hundreds of students, I have a deep understanding of where students typically struggle and how to fix it. I’ve refined a methodical yet entirely patient approach that transforms "exam anxiety" into a quiet, step-by-step confidence.

I pride myself on being an encouraging and adaptable mentor. Over the years, I have worked extensively with a wide range of learning styles and requirements—including students with ADHD, Tourette’s, Autism, and anxiety. I believe the best learning happens in a calm, pressure-free environment, and I take on a limited number of students each term to ensure I can provide this high-quality, dedicated support to every family.
